New Brunswick Now believes our province needs practical solutions, responsible financial management, and a stronger private-sector economy. Our platform is focused on improving the services New Brunswickers depend on while making sure government lives within its means and plans for the future.
These are the priorities that will guide New Brunswick Now as we build toward the 2028 provincial election.
Economy & Jobs
New Brunswick needs a stronger private-sector economy. Government cannot remain the province’s primary engine of growth. We need new industry, investment, good-paying jobs, and businesses that expand our tax base.
New Brunswick Now will focus on making the province a competitive place to invest and build — while ensuring that economic development creates lasting benefits for New Brunswick communities and taxpayers.
- Attract major industrial and manufacturing investment.
- Support small and medium-sized New Brunswick businesses.
- Reduce unnecessary barriers to investment and development.
- Expand skilled trades and workforce training.
- Use our natural resources responsibly to create jobs and provincial revenue.
Healthcare
New Brunswickers should be able to access timely, reliable care when they need it. Too many patients are still facing long waits for family doctors, emergency care, diagnostics, surgery, and long-term care.
New Brunswick Now will focus on improving access, using healthcare resources more efficiently, and holding the system accountable for measurable results.
- Reduce emergency-room wait times and improve patient flow.
- Expand access to primary care and virtual care.
- Increase diagnostic and surgical capacity, including evenings and weekends where appropriate.
- Strengthen home care and long-term care so hospital beds are used for patients who need hospital care.
- Improve healthcare transparency with clear, regularly published performance measures.

Education.
New Brunswick’s education system must prepare students for the future while dealing realistically with aging schools, changing enrolment, infrastructure pressures, and limited provincial finances.
New Brunswick Now will focus on improving student outcomes, supporting teachers and school staff, and making long-term decisions about school infrastructure based on clear priorities and responsible planning.
- Improve literacy, numeracy, and overall student achievement.

- Develop a long-term plan for aging schools and deferred maintenance.

Seniors & Long-Term Care.
New Brunswick’s aging population requires a long-term care system that is better planned, easier to navigate, and focused on providing the right level of care in the right setting.
New Brunswick Now will focus on expanding care options, reducing unnecessary hospital stays, and improving coordination between home care, special care homes, nursing homes, and the healthcare system.
- Expand home care so more seniors can remain safely at home.

New Brunswickers deserve a government that is transparent, disciplined, and accountable for how public money is spent. With growing demands on healthcare, education, infrastructure, and other services, the province must make better use of every tax dollar.
New Brunswick Now will focus on improving financial oversight, reducing unnecessary duplication, and making government performance easier for the public to understand.
